Pennai Home (“the App”) is provided to let you discover and control compatible smart lights and devices on your own Wi‑Fi network. This policy describes what information the App uses on your device and how it is handled.

Information the App processes

• Device list you save. Names and IP addresses you add for your lights/devices are stored locally on your phone using the device’s storage (not on servers we operate for normal app use).
• Local network access. To find devices and send commands, the App communicates over your Wi‑Fi/LAN with addresses you choose (for example http:// to a device on your network). That traffic stays between your phone and your devices; we do not route or store those commands on our backend as part of using the App.
• Network name (SSID). The App may read your current Wi‑Fi network name to show context in the UI (for example, that you are on home Wi‑Fi). This is used on the device and is not sent to us by the App.
• Diagnostics. Standard app stores (Google Play / Apple) may collect crash or usage analytics according to their policies and your device settings. The App itself does not require an account to function.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. The App is not designed to upload your saved device list to our servers for ordinary operation. If you use third‑party services (such as app distribution or developer tools), their privacy policies may apply to those services.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us using the details below.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
